In order to reach the eMLS League Series Two finals this weekend, Sporting Kansas City gamer Alekzandur will have to catch fire Tuesday night as qualifying comes to a close.
Currently in 17th place with a 3-4 qualifying record, Alekzandur will play five more matches tonight with hopes of securing a top-eight finish among the 27 eMLS contestants. The top eight players in qualifying will progress to the League Series Two final tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday with live streaming on the official MLS Twitch and Twitter pages plus MLSsoccer.com and the free MLS app.
Alekzandur took the eighth and final qualifying spot in League Series One last month, falling to top-seeded xbLeU of Austin FC in the quarterfinals on Jan. 16.
With a prize pool of $15,000 up for grabs in League Series Two, EA SPORTS FIFA 21 matches are played exclusively on PlayStation 4. League Series One and League Series Two serve as precursors to the main event on the 2021 eMLS schedule, with eMLS Cup presented by Coca-Cola slated for March 20-21.
