Major League Soccer’s 18th annual All-Star Game features the 2013 MLS All-Star squad taking on Italian giants AS Roma on Wednesday, July 31 at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas. The match will be televised live on ESPN2, UniMas, and in Canada on TSN and RDS starting at 9 p.m. EDT.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, a duo from Seattle, Washington, have emerged as a premier international hip-hop group known for their electrifying live shows, expertly crafted music, and innovative music videos and media. After years of building momentum with impassioned support from their devoted fan base, 2012 was a banner year for the group, kicked off by Macklemore's feature in XXL's Freshman Class. Most recently, they have broken new ground by independently releasing their debut full-length album, The Heist, which shot into the #1 spot on iTunes and debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts without the support of a traditional record label. Their single Thrift Shop spent 6 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (5x Platinum), with help from a wildly popular music video (200 million+ views on YouTube) on heavy rotation on BET and MTV. The most recent music video release for their new #1 hit single "Can't Hold Us", has garnered critical acclaim and millions of views, and sees the duo taking their art to new heights.
“AT&T is thrilled to help bring such stellar acts as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, as well as Silversun Pickups, to the heart of Kansas City as part of our sponsorship of this year’s AT&T MLS All-Star Game festivities,” said John Sondag, president of AT&T Missouri. “This reflects our ongoing, growing commitment to help bring people together, and keep them connected on our blazing-fast 4G LTE network whether they are at home, work, a soccer game or anywhere in between.”
