The newest chapter of an illustrious rivalry between Sporting Kansas City (1-0-1, 4 points) and Real Salt Lake (1-0-0, 3 points) will be written Saturday when the sides lock horns at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The Western Conference clash is slated for 1 p.m. CT with live coverage on Bally Sports Kansas City Plus, Bally Sports Midwest Plus, the Bally Sports app and BallySports.com as well as ESPN 94.5 FM and La Grande 1340 AM.
Both sides have enjoyed encouraging starts to the 2021 campaign, with Sporting on four points from two games and RSL emerging victorious in their season opener last weekend. Manager Peter Vermes' men won both head-to-head meetings in 2020 and will look to continue their triumphant ways by spoiling RSL's first home match of the year.
