"By The Numbers" is sponsored by The Kansas Department of Transportation. Did you know that drivers view drinking and driving as a very serious threat and disapprove of impaired driving? Yet 1 in 8 admit to driving at least once in the past year when they thought their alcohol level might have been over the legal limit. Be safe and designate a sober driver (source: AAA Foundation).
On the heels of consecutive losses, Sporting Kansas City (4-3-0, 12 points) heads west for a two-game road trip that begins Sunday against the San Jose Earthquakes (3-2-2, 11 points) at Avaya Stadium. The match will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT with national television coverage on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, as well as a local Spanish radio broadcast on La Grande 1340 AM.
