Park University and Sporting Kansas City have teamed up to honor those who serve their community and country as part of the club’s season long “Salute to Troops” armed forces military appreciation platform.
The partnership is an effort to raise awareness and appreciation for current and retired members of the U.S. military in the Kansas City area who are fighting for or have fought for the freedom of American citizens. The program provides game tickets in Sporting Park’s “Zone of Courage” section and VIP experiences for the honoree and his/her family. Additionally, those recognized will be featured on the Salute to Troops homepage on www.SportingKC.com.
SURPRISE: Soldier Reunites with Family
“Park University and Sporting Kansas City have a mutual respect for the men and women who represent the U.S. armed forces around the world with honor and valor,” said Park University President David Fowler. “This partnership allows both Park and Sporting KC to provide a small tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country’s freedom.”
“Men and women who have gone above and beyond the call of duty have a special place in the heart of both of our organizations. We are thrilled to form this multi-year strategic alignment with Park University to honor such deserving individuals as part of Salute to Troops,” said Jamie Guin, VP of Corporate Partnerships for Sporting Kansas City. “Through this partnership, we will not only recognize men and women at every home game but also provide memorable experiences for each family member in attendance.”
The Salute to Troops platform will also be complemented through a year-round integrated public relations and program support asset mix, across all of the club’s marketing mediums, including a dedicated webpage, broadcast PSA’s, in-stadium digital signage and digital/social media mentions.
