Sporting Kansas City has always encouraged fans to follow their favorite team on the road. So much so that Sporting KC's owners have volunteered to pay for match tickets for fans that wish to attend a road match. That has led to mammoth road support including more than 800 fans traveling to both Colorado and Dallas over the past three years.
Now, with the help of American Family Insurance, a Sporting Kansas City road trip is about to get a whole lot better. Fans can now register for a chance to win an all-expense-paid road trip to see Sporting Kansas City take on the Portland Timbers on August 7. The match will be played at Providence Park, Portland’s premier athletic venue nestled in the heart of downtown.
The sweepstakes is open to all Sporting KC fans 21 years of age and older who live in Kansas or Missouri. The sweepstakes will run until 11:59:59 PM (CST) on July 17.
There are two ways to register for the sweepstakes. The first is by visiting www.amfam.com/sportingkc and filling out the entry form. Contestants can also register at the American Family Insurance booth at the following Sporting KC home matches: May 15, May 21, June 19 and July 10.
One grand prize winner will be awarded for this sweepstakes. That winner will receive:
- Airfare for 4
- 4 game tickets to the Sporting KC vs. Portland Timbers match on August 7
- $1,000 bank card (winner only)
- 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights in close proximity to the away match location
- Official Sporting KC gear
