Sporting Kansas City has advanced to the fourth round of KC Source Link's Battle of the Brands. The annual competition pits Kansas City brands against each other in a March Madness, bracket-style competition to determine who has the strongest brand in Kansas City.

Sporting KC advanced past The Neighborhood Handyman, Sidelines Custom Floral Designs and FinditKC in the first three rounds of the competition. In the fourth round, Sporting KC's Epic 8 opponent is Tippin's Pies a local bakery who specializes in pies, croissants and other baked items.

Epic 8 voting opened at 8 a.m. CT this morning and will run until Friday, March 20 at 4 p.m. CT. The four brands that advance to the Fightin' 4 will be announced on www.kcsourcelink.com on Monday, March 23.

To vote, fans can go to www.kcsourcelink.com/kc-battle. Sporting KC is in the Second Stage portion of the bracket. Only one vote per IP address is allowed and votes cannot be changed after they are submitted. If Sporting KC advances to the Quad Championship, they will be up against the winner of the Main Street bracket (either Dolce Bakery or Boulevard Brewing Co.).
