Kansas City-based specialty coffee roaster Parisi Coffee and Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City today announced the release of Sporting Calcio 2020 Blend, a co-branded medium roast coffee that features notes of orange, pie crust and maple syrup.
Sporting Calcio 2020 Blend, the first in a new Tifosi Series chosen by Parisi as a declaration of fandom, is now available to order online at ParisiCoffee.com and will be available in Parisi cafes and grocery stores for Sporting fans throughout the region in the weeks ahead.

"As a longtime Sporting KC fan, I'm very excited to introduce this coffee," said Joseph Paris, the co-founder of Parisi Coffee. "The Calcio 2020 Blend is inspired by the enthusiasm and camaraderie Sporting fans bring to each and every game."

Sporting and Parisi announced a multifaceted partnership in January for Parisi to serve as the official coffee and cold brew of Sporting Kansas City as well as the preferred specialty foods provider for City Foods, the club’s in-house catering service.
Sporting Calcio 2020 Blend’s artistic packaging and the Tifosi Series pays homage to Parisi’s Italian heritage while also aligning with Sporting Kansas City’s rich supporter culture. Calcio is the Italian word for soccer while Tifosi is the Italian expression for fans.
Parisi opened its first roasting facility in 2006 before opening its first café at historic Union Station in downtown Kansas City. Parisi products are available at its café, select Kansas City restaurants, grocery stores and at ParisiCoffee.com.
Throughout the month of May, Parisi is celebrating local health care workers, first responders and other essential individuals on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic by giving away weekly care packages with freshly roasted coffee beans and pastries.
