After a convincing 3-0 victory at home against New England, Sporting Kansas City continues near the top of this week's MLS Power Rankings. The team is #1 on ESPNFC.com, #2 on MLSSoccer.com, #2 on Bleacher Report, and #4 on SI.com. Below are a few excerpts from the Power Rankings.

ESPNFC.com (Jeff Carlisle)

"Kei Kamara's freakish athletic gifts were on display against New England. He twice rose high above the Revs' defense to score off crosses from Soony Saad. Benny Feilhaber scored against his old club courtesy of a sumptuous free kick."

MLSsoccer.com (MLSsoccer Staff)

"Sporting Kansas City got back on track with a dominant 3-0 win over New England last week. Perhaps more importantly, they've made it back atop the Eastern Conference standings, where most expected them to be all along."

SI.com (Avi Creditor)

"Kei Kamara will steal the headlines with his brace guiding Sporting Kansas City to a 3-0 romp over the New England Revolution, but how about the continued contributions from Soony Saad? The young forward continues to flourish, setting up Kamara for both of his headers and ensuring that Graham Zusi's continued absence with a quad injury did not hinder the club, which won for the first time in three games."
