Sporting Kansas City eMLS player Alekzandur has earned an eighth-place finish in eMLS Cup 2021 presented by Coca-Cola.
Competing in the premier event of the 2021 eMLS calendar, Alekzandur defeated FC Cincinnati's Fiddle by a 7-4 aggregate scoreline on Saturday afternoon to set up a quarterfinal showdown today with top-seeded xbLeU of Austin FC. In an evenly contested, two-legged battle, Alekzandur took a narrow 3-2 loss on aggregate after losing the decisive second match 2-1.
New York City FC gamer Didychrislito, who won eMLS League Series One and Two earlier this year, clinched a historic treble by defeating Adamou of the New York Red Bulls in the championship.
