This year, BMO Field celebrates it 10th anniversary as the home of Major League Soccer side Toronto FC. The soccer-specific-stadium has undergone a series of changes over the past 10 years, including a second level added just two years ago, but through it all, BMO Field has provided one of the best atmosphere in MLS for one of its most passionate fan bases.
Sporting KC will pay a visit to BMO Field on Friday for the first time since 2015. The club has a 5-3-3 record all time in Toronto and has not lost there since 2009. In honor of Friday’s match, today’s TBT features highlights from Toronto FC’s first home match in 2007, which just so happened to be against the then-Kansas City Wizards.
