Major League Soccer announced Monday that Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber is one of five nominees for MLS Goal of the Week in Week 8. Feilhaber's half-volley in the 95th minute of Saturday's 4-4 draw was the second-latest away goal in team history and is contention for the first Goal of the Week award in his five-year MLS career. Voting is open through Thursday at MLSsoccer.com.

Sporting Kansas City Academy U-16 defender Jaylin Lindsey is on the United States Under-15 Boys' National Team roster for the 12th Tournament Delle Nazioni that began this weekend in Europe. The U.S. kicked off the competition with a 4-1 win over Costa Rica on Saturday and a 6-2 victory against Croatia on Sunday with Lindsey starting both matches. The U.S. will round out Group C play against Slovenia today.

A new episode of The Sporting KC Show will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday. Hosts Andy Gruenebaum, Dave Borchardt and Carter Augustine will discuss all the latest news in Major League Soccer and fans can join the discussion by calling 913-3-810-810. The station will also broadcast Sunday's match from Sporting Park and air The Final Whistle: Sporting KC Postgame Show immediately afterward.

Sporting Kansas City captain Matt Besler will make a special appearance at Kansas Sampler Oak Park (9750 Quivira Road) in Lenexa, Kansas from 6-7:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday. The World Cup veteran will sign autographs during the free meet-and-greet event for customers.

On Friday, two Sporting KC players will attend Art Bra 2015 at the TWA Signature Hangar at the Downtown Airport (10 NW Richards Road) in Kansas City, Missouri. The auction event and runway show features work-of-art bras modeled by breast cancer survivors to celebrate their triumph over cancer and raise money to support cancer patients in Kansas City. Visit artbrakc.com for ticket information.

Three Sporting KC players will run the Hot Dog Derby at Kauffman Stadium on Friday night during the Kansas City Royals home series against the Detroit Tigers. Fans will cheer on the trio as they race the course while wearing Ketchup, Mustard and Relish costumes in a celebrity edition of the popular baseball tradition.

This week is the final opportunity for fans to participate in Benny Feilhaber's "Master the Mane" initiative. Coming off a two-goal performance, the Sporting KC midfielder is helping to raise money for The Victory Project by allowing fan donations to determine his hairstyle for Sunday's nationally televised home match. To cast a vote for The Mullet, The Bieber or The Mohawk, visit SportingKC.com/Benny and make a minimum $10 donation. In conjunction with the contest, Feilhaber will appear on KSHB-TV's Kansas City Live during Thursday's show from 10-11 a.m. CT.

On Saturday, Sporting Park will host Yoga on the Pitch from 1-2 p.m. CT with select Sporting KC players in attendance to help raise funds for The Victory Project and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The 60-minute, all levels class will take place on the field featuring lululemon athletica Ambassadors and guest instructors from Pop-Up Yoga KC.
