Josh Chong

2019: Chong signed an Academy contract with Sporting II but did not make an appearance.

SKC Academy: Chong was a part of the Sporting KC Academy as a U-14 player before departing for a stint with the European Soccer Institute in Kansas. He rejoined the Sporting KC Academy in 2018 and has made 55 appearances since, tallying 11 goals playing primarily on either wing for both the Under-17 and Under-19 teams. Chong spent significant time training with Sporting II in 2018 before signing an Academy contract for the 2019 season.

Personal: Chong, who was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in Lynchburg, Virgnia, moved to Kansas City in 2013.
