An intriguing Western Conference battle awaits on Saturday as Sporting Kansas City hosts the high-flying San Jose Earthquakes at Children's Mercy Park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City, and a limited number of tickets are available via SeatGeek.com.


San Jose (2-0-0, 6 points) approaches the contest on the heels of two straight home wins to begin the 2017 campaign. Sporting Kansas City (0-0-2, 2 points) has yet to enter the victory column, but boasts an impressive home record against the Quakes and a gaudy shutout streak that dates back to last season.
