Sporting Kansas City II will face two USL League One opponents this month in exhibition matches ahead of their USL Championship season opener at FC Tulsa on May 1.
On April 17, Sporting KC II will travel north to face Union Omaha in a 2 p.m. CT kickoff at Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska. Seven days later, head coach Paulo Nagamura's side will host Forward Madison FC in a 2 p.m. CT contest at Swope Soccer Village that will be closed to the public.

The USL Championship today announced its full schedule for the 2021 regular season, which will see Sporting Kansas City II play 32 matches from May 1 to Oct. 30. The club has been placed into the Central Division of the Eastern Conference alongside Atlanta United 2, Birmingham Legion FC, FC Tulsa, Indy Eleven, Louisville City FC, Memphis 901 FC and OKC Energy FC.
Sporting KC II will play all seven Central Division opponents four times each—twice at home and twice on the road. The club will also host two Mountain Division foes—Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on May 14 and El Paso Locomotive FC on May 30—and visit Pacific Division sides LA Galaxy II on May 19 and Oakland Roots SC on Oct. 30 in the regular season finale.
Children’s Mercy Park will serve as the home of Sporting KC II in 2021. USL Championship matches at the venue will be held without fans in attendance until further notice.
Sporting KC II returns nine players from the 2020 campaign—namely defenders Danny Barbir, Petar Cuic and Kaveh Rad, midfielders Jake Davis, Christian Duke and Jahon Rad, forwards Enoch Mushagalusa and Dominik Resetar and goalkeeper Remi Prieur.
