UPDATE: U.S. Soccer has announced a new kickoff time of 3 p.m. CT for USAvCAN on Sept. 7 at Children's Mercy Park. The match was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
The United States Men’s National Team will kick off its fall home schedule with a Fan Appreciation Night match-up against Canada at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan., U.S. Soccer announced today.
The international friendly will be the first USMNT match after Copa América and will be broadcast live on TBS, Telemundo, truTV, Universo, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera. U.S. Soccer will celebrate supporters on Fan Appreciation Night with a match experience featuring interactive fan activations, opportunities to win prizes and more.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, June 28 via Ticketmaster. Sporting KC Season Ticket Members will have access to a pre-sale from 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, June 27 until 8 a.m. CT on Friday, June 28. U.S. Soccer Insiders and Visa cardholders will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public.

The United States and Canada will each play highly anticipated Copa America matches in Kansas City over the next seven days. Canada takes on Peru at 5 p.m. CT tonight at Children’s Mercy Park (tickets), while the United States plays Uruguay at 8 p.m. CT on Monday, July 1 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (tickets).
The United States is 17-10-13 all-time against Canada. The national teams squared off twice in 2023 in Concacaf competitions with the USA first collecting a 2-0 victory in the Nations League championship match on June 18 in Las Vegas. On July 9, following a dramatic 2-2 draw in extra time, the USMNT utilized two penalty kick saves from Matt Turner to defeat Canada in a shootout at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati in the Gold Cup quarterfinals.
The USMNT, currently No. 11 in the FIFA rankings, is unbeaten all time in Kansas City (10-0-2) and at Children’s Mercy Park (8-0-2). A host city for FIFA World Cup 2026, Kansas City has a rich history of supporting the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams, who are a combined 16-0-6 in Kansas City and 12-0-4 at Children’s Mercy Park.
